South London alt-funk-no-wave collective SlaqMajik release their debut double AA side single “Something Strange/Liar Liar”.

“Something Strange” is a bass driven rambunctious disco anthem featuring brand new talent Twenea Terrons on vocals. The track is an explosive celebration of unabashed individuality, bound to inspire hi-jinx and dancefloor shenanigans.

On the flip side “Liar Liar” is a wig-out, dub-u-like, nursery rhyme
riot featuring highly esteemed singer Breezy Lee’s in-your-face vocals, over a dirty and frenetic percussion workout.

The tracks have been written and produced by London based DJ/Musician Jonny Beaulaxe, and Multi-instrumentalist/Writer/Producer NoNameKid, who identify under the moniker “SlaqMajik”.

The cover art for this limited edition 7” single features anarchic cartoon grotesquery by much acclaimed Croydon-born artist Barry Reigate, the icing on the cake for what is likely to become an instant collector’s item.
